"My dad's appendix burst while he was here for a week to visit from New Mexico so last night he had it taken out with the big surgery at St. Vincent's Hospital. I went up tonight and Tommy and I brightened his room with flowers, balloon, etc. and I "smuggled" in the Neuroscope as I wasn't sure what the nurses would think. Dad had already tried it a couple days ago and was begging me to leave it with him. It is a Great post-op tool as it shortens recovery time and relaxes the patient so they get really good restorative, healing sleep.
